About Genevieve
Genevieve Prushinski, MS, RD, LD, CDN is a Registered Dietitian based out of New York City. She utilizes a weight-inclusive, HAES (Health at Every Size), anti-diet approach in her work with clients, while also incorporating Intuitive Eating principles. Genevieve has experience working at all levels of eating disorder care including Residential, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and outpatient.
Genevieve approaches care with the understanding that you are the expert on yourself, and she offers evidence-based, compassionate care as guidance along the way. Genevieve is collaborative, holistic, and compassionate, and she provides person-centered counseling to meet people where they are at. She helps her clients leave sessions feeling empowered and armed with knowledge of how to compassionately care for their own bodies through a lens of curiosity instead of judgement. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients as they journey to make peace with food, break away from food rules and food judgments, and embrace life fully according to their authentic values.
Education
Genevieve received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. She received her Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition and completed her Dietetic Internship at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.
