Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
All sessions are offered virtually through a secure telehealth platform.
Can I️ still work with you if I️ don’t live in New York?
Yes! We operate out of New York but may be able to see clients in other states depending state licensure laws. Currently, we are licensed to see clients located in the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, HI, ID, IN, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY. If you have any questions, please contact us regarding your location and we can provide more information about licensure and our ability to work with you.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, we are not in-network with any insurances. For clients wishing to utilize out-of-network benefits, we provide a superbill at the end of each month to submit accordingly for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Our rate for an initial session is $250 for a 55 min session, and our rate for follow-up sessions is $200 for a 45-minute session.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Sessions cancelled within 24-hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged the full session rate.
Do you work with children or adolescents?
We accept clients ages 15 and over. All clients under the age of 15 will be accepted on a case by case basis.
Will you work with my treatment team?
Absolutely! We strongly believe in the importance of being surrounded by a full team in recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating. This usually includes a doctor, psychiatrist, therapist, and dietitian. If you don’t currently have a full team, we are happy to provide to referrals.
